Step by Step Process to Add Theme to Blogger

Now let’s gets started to upload the downloaded theme to our blog on blogger, Open your account go to blogger.com and select you blog by clicking on drop down as you can see in blow image I have blog with name Healthy Educate, After that click on themes for left hand side and click on dropdown in front of customization button and select the edit html, before going ahead you must have seen there are many templates below that are provided by Google itself to use for free. We are going to stick with our downloaded template.

Right Now you blogger download template is in zip file you must extract that file to use the template. How you can do that just right click on that zip file select “extract in file option” from that and a folder will be created with zip file’s name and within it there will be a .xml file that is our template that we are going to use. Just right click on that XML file and click open with notepad on your computer to view that it will be open in note paid click anywhere inside that file just make sure you are not deleting anything and press the “Crtl + A” to select all the code of that file or you can right click inside that file and click select all option and copy that code.

Now go back to blogger and click on dropdown button in front of customization and select the edit HTML and right click inside and press “Crtl + A” to select all , or right click anywhere and select all code “Crtl + V” to paste the code that we have copied from our .xml file and click on save button.

Now click on save button that is right hand under your profile image after processing success message of update will appear and now go back to dashboard visit your blog your template is upgraded to new theme now.

Now refresh and click on View Blog to have a look of new theme.
