McDonald registers 12 brands in Metaverse

Josh Gerben, founder of Gerben Intellectual Property, said in a tweet on “Twitter” that the fast food chain McDonald’s submitted 12 applications to register property rights through his institution, including “a restaurant that offers real and virtual goods,” “a virtual restaurant that offers home delivery,” and “Virtual Food and Beverage Products” and “downloadable multimedia files containing artwork, text, audio, video, and non-replaceable icons” (NFTs).

Additionally, McDonald’s has registered its McCafe trademark in the Metaverse trademark application.
