1. Get acquainted with the history of the company, their product or service

People too often come to interviews without knowing what the company is doing. But to win the employer, learn everything you can: company history, names of leaders, current successes and problems. If possible, purchase and test their products and services, talk to those who use them. In the interview conversation, show carefully how much you know about the company. Deep knowledge will make you the most suitable candidate in the eyes of the hiring manager.

2. Collect information about interlocutors

It is good if you know who will conduct it before the interview. It is usually easier to do this before the second interview when the candidates are introduced to part of the team or their next immediate supervisor. 4. Set your phone to silent

You have no idea how many times I met candidates who were caught on the phone during an interview. For HR, calling on the phone during a call is a quick way to get rid of careless and disrespectful candidates.

Turn off your phone or switch to silent mode before you approach the office front door. If you forget to do this and someone calls you, never answer calls directly to the interview.

5. Choose the right clothes

Do not delay choosing interview attire until the morning before the interview. Think about the picture in advance, wash and iron the clothes. Not all interviews require a strict dress code, but you should still look well-groomed. If you have friends in this company, ask them which clothes would be more suitable.

And do not forget to look in the mirror before leaving the house. Do you have something stuck in your teeth? No ketchup stains on jeans? Are the shoes clean?

On the way to the interview, do not buy anything that might spill or stain you. Trust the guy who flew to another city for a job interview and decided to drink tomato juice during the turbulence.
