🌟 About the Role

The Mortgage Production Manager will oversee Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs), Junior MLOs, and Mortgage Processors while managing the end-to-end loan production pipeline. This role is responsible for executing sales strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency.

The position also serves as a key liaison between internal teams and third-party underwriting and closing partners.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor Mortgage Loan Officers and support staff

• Recruit and onboard new lending professionals

• Manage mortgage, home equity, and HELOC production pipelines

• Originate residential mortgage loans and maintain a personal book of business

• Build partnerships with realtors, builders, and community organizations

• Monitor production volume, cycle times, and quality metrics

• Ensure compliance with SAFE Act, HMDA, Fair Lending, and NMLS requirements

• Drive process improvements and operational scalability

✅ Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of residential mortgage origination experience

• Active NMLS license

• Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and other mortgage programs

• Experience with Mortgage Origination Systems (LOS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field

• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

• Experience managing originators and processing teams

• Expertise in home equity loans and HELOCs
