SanDisk-branded Western Digital today unveiled the iXpand Flash Drive Luxe. Its main feature is that it is equipped with two connectors: Lightning and USB-C.
This allows the drive to be used with a wide range of devices.
iXpand Flash Drive Luxe can be used with iPhone, iPad, most modern Android devices and any computer with a USB-C port. It is worth noting that to work with Apple smartphones and tablets, you may need to install the iXpand Drive application, which is compatible with iOS 11 or a newer version of the operating system. But on devices with iOS 13 and higher, you can get by with the standard Files application. Using the drive makes it much easier to transfer files between devices based on different platforms without an Internet connection.
