At least six people died and 12 were injured this Monday in the city of Afrin, in northwestern Syria and under the control of the Turkish forces, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
24 happeningsThe attack took place in the city center near the headquarters of the Army of Islam, a proturkish militia, according to the NGO, based in the United Kingdom but with a wide network of collaborators on the ground.
Among the victims of the blast are members of the Turkish-backed factions and two of the injured are children said the Observatory, which assured that the local police detained two suspects of being involved in this attack.
24 happeningsAfrin, in the north of Aleppo province, is controlled by the Turkish forces and their allied factions and they fight against the Kurdish militias, who had to ally with the government Army in the face of the Turkish advance and now the three sides control different but neighboring parts from the northern regions of Syria.
