The current world champion defeated Spain 2-1 in Milan (Italy).
France won the second edition of the Nations League by defeating Spain 2-1, this Sunday in Milan, with goals from its stars Karim Benzema (66) Kylian Mbappé (80), which served to overcome Mikel Oyarzabal's goal (64 ).
The current world champion succeeds Portugal, who won the first edition of the Nations League at home in 2019. Third place went to host Italy, who hours before beat Belgium 2-1 in Turin.
At San Siro the game was asleep for more than an hour until a play changed the trend. Theo Hernandez ran into the crossbar (64) and in the continuation Sergio Busquets put a long ball for Oyarzabal, who won the body to Dayot Upamecano and converted a cross shot.
Two minutes later France answered. Paul Pogba served long for Karim Benzema, who invented a shot to the square from the peak of the area.
Spain was on the ropes and Mbappé, hitherto misguided, scored the winning goal by converting a pass into Theo's hole.
