The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Thursday that the country has added 18,881 cases of coronavirus in the last day, the highest number in the last six months, while it has registered another 412 deaths since Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health has thus indicated in a statement that among the newly infected are 1,748 minors and 368 health workers. In addition, 4,901 people have been hospitalized in the last day and another 6,461 have managed to recover from COVID-19.
The day before, 16,309 cases and 471 deaths were notified, although since the pandemic began, 2,597,275 infections and almost 60,000 deaths have been detected in the country, in addition to 2,311,991 recovered.
So far more than 7.7 million Ukrainians have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine, while more than 6.3 million have the full schedule.
